¨C FRD is about to bring diversity to the new season

FRD held a press conference called ˇ°New Era New Challengeˇ± at Hong Kong's W Hotel Studio 3 on Thursday (April 16 th ). FRD announced their new series ˇ°Clio Cup Chinaˇ±, China Radical Cup, partnership with TVB, and FRD's plan as a motorsport promoter for the 2009 season.
 Renowned TVB artists Ka Lok Chin & Carlong Ng were the MCs. They introduced the new race series ˇ°Clio Cup Chinaˇ± & ˇ°China Radical Cupˇ± and invited three Clio Cup China drivers, Stephen Chau, Frank Yu, Paul Poon and Paul IP to talk about their point of view on the Clio cars. The famous European one-make race ˇ°Clio Cupˇ± will come to China for the first time this year, with the debut race to be held at the famous Le Mans 24 Hours track. The fleet will then travel to the Nurburgring Circuit in Germany at Renault Sport Technologies' (RST) invitation, where it will participate in an RST festival event to be held the same weekend as the famous Nurburgring 24 hour race. Aaron Kwok, the famous international movie star, is also joining this new series.
 The other highlight of the press conference was FRD's announcement of a new partnership with TVB. FRD will contribute to TVB's 13-eposode car racing program to be broadcast on ˇ°Sports Worldˇ±.
TVB GM Stephen Chan and artists like Irene Wan, Lee Sansan, Yeman Wong and Chrissie Chau attended the press conference to show their support. Irene Wan, Lee Sansan, Ka Lok Chin and Carlong Ng all participated in FRD's Challenge Show (C1) racing weekends and indicated that they would like to attend more charity races like C1 to raise funds for charity foundations. In addition to a Shanghai race weekend, C1 is also going to race in Beijing and Chengdu, Si Chuan province. Together with the ˇ°One Foundationˇ± which was established by the famous international star Jet Li, FRD and the artists will put every ounce of their effort in support of the ˇ°5.12 earthquakeˇ± victims.
FRD CEO Kenneth Ma also took the stage and indicated that he is confident about the coming season, as well as expressing his appreciation to all of FRD's friends. FRD is bringing diversity to the 2009 season with a combination of professionalism & entertainment to race fans of China and Asia.
