Clio Cup China Travelling to Nürburgring

After the successful Le Mans race, FRD newly announced series “Clio Cup China” is about to travel to the renowned Nürburgring Nordschleife track at the invitation of Renault Sport Technologies (RST) and indulge in the famous ADAC Zurich 24 Hours series on May 21 st & 22 nd

The Nürburgring, simply known as "The Ring" by race enthusiasts, is a famous motorsport race track built in 1925-1927 in Nürburg, Germany. “The Ring” is not only known for its demanding blind curves, 100+ bends, 300+ meters' altitude difference and spectacular view, it is also the longest track in the world (20.8 KM). Even top racing drivers describe it as the most demanding circuit in the world. It's impossible to describe just how good it is until you've been there, but if you can imagine your favorite mountain road and your favorite race-track, and combine the best bits of the two, you'll get the general idea.

The team and drivers will set off for Germany on May 18 and stay at Hotel SETA, which is famous for its quality hospitality service and beautiful sight. FRD scheduled a practice for drivers on Thursday to check out this exciting track. Those who have raced The Ring will give you the following advice “It's not recommended to go at your top speed and try to pursue a better laptime. The Ring is a track far beyond that. Just enjoy the race and play it safe.”
