The Perfect Ending for the 2011 Baodao Ford Formula Campus Series

Formula Racing Development with Baodao Optical had a special project this year choosing a group of students to compete and train them in Formula Campus. This was a mutually beneficial project for both brands involved, with the final race of this 4 month long project happening, Sunday May 22.

Qualifying

Feng Yue Gained the Pole Feng Yue from Beijing takes best time and scores the Pole position for tomorrow’s last race of the Baodou Campus Series. Zhang Bichao takes second and Ma Renzhong in third.

Race

Feng Yue performed well and held the lead position Feng Yue immediately took the lead with a time of a full second by T3. A former successful Polo Cup driver, he was confident this was a near given win. Zhang Bichao who took second place and Ma Renzhong who took third also started to leave the rest of the drivers behind. Even with a spin out in lap 5, Zhang Bichao still managed to catch up and improve his time with Ma Renzhong taking the 3rd position.

After the race, Sherine Chen, the Headquarter Marketing Deapartment VP of Baodao Optical expressed: "We are glad to create such a platform to help the students make their dreams a reality. We are happy to participate in this great achievement. These 10 students expressed that this is an unforgettable memory. We are so proud that we can work together with FRD to create a new environment and in the near future, we will set up more and more programs to help normal people make their dreams come true."
