(2) Applicant must hold a valid Hong Kong identity card OR provide a “Letter of no objection” issued by your National Sporting Authority (ASN) which states that they have no objection to letting HKAA issue a racing license to the applicant. (3) Applicant must be a membership of HKAA. This need to pay the admission fee (HK$300) and annual fee (HK$800) requirements of HKAA.But if you’re an FRD member, there is no need to pay the admission fee (HK$300) .But also pay the annual fee (HK$800) requirements of HKAA. (4) Applicant must pass the annual medical examination to prove he/she is physically fit for motorsport competition. The medical examination is annual for all license holders and applicants (See list of examination doctors below). (5) License fee is HK$1,200 and Medical Form Fee is HK$300. (6) HKAA will issue a license to the applicant after 10 days. Normally, HKAA will issue a "Restricted Competition License" (for one year) or "National Competition License" (for one event only) for non-experienced drivers (drivers without race experience). Drivers must provide any racing school certificate(s) to HKAA. The one event national license is for one event only. Non-experienced drivers must reapply for this license for each race until they have reached at least 3 qualified race results. After, they will be eligible to obtain their annual license. HKAA has the right to refuse the issuance of a competition license to any person; such refusal may be done without reason being given to the applicant. Applicants must produce all necessary documentation when filing the application and it will take up to 10 working days to process such application. Steps to apply for a racing license from HKAA:

(1) Applicant must apply for the racing license in person.
