Race 2 of Asian GT Series on the Horizon

          The Asian GT series Race 2 will start in style in Malaysia on 25th-27th May, at the famous Sepang International Circuit together with the Malaysia Super Series. The second race will feature a field of drivers at the wheel of three different models: Ferrari 430 GT3, Ginetta G50Z and Audi R8 LMS.



         According to the regulation, Race 2 is maximum 60 minutes with compulsory pit stop, which must be carried out during the period after lap 5 and 15 minutes before the chequered flag. However, Asian GT Series will only count the championship points according to the place at lap 10. Although the pit opens after lap 5, it is not allowed to change driver before the first 10 laps.


         After the last two rounds, Frank Yu now maintaining the top position of the point table with 7 scores ahead of Philip Ma, who will attend the series again at the wheel of the Audi R8 LMS. The other driver who stands on top three now is Samson Chan, only 3 scores less than Philip Ma. Eric Lo and Shaun Thong are capable to intervene the battle, as with more than 20 drivers on the track have many variables.


         This weather will be extremely hot during this weekend; it will be a tough race for all of the drivers.
