After the whole season of battling, Asian Formula Renault will be hosting the last race of 2017 series in Zhuhai International Circuit, while FRD LMP3 and Renault Clio Cup China Series will be joining with the Pan Delta Super Racing Festival. Due to the serious impact from typhoon Hato, the paid practice session for this race had to be cancelled, which means drivers will need to go straight from official practice sessions.

Class A Charles Leong from BlackArts Racing is leading by 245 points and it is more than enough for him to take the early overall champion of 2017 AFR Series. 2nd place is Daniel Lu from Asia Racing Team, who missed the R7-R8 due to the crash in schedule with another formula series.

Coming behind is Charles’s teammate Louis Prette. He had 29 points difference with Daniel which means Louis is still able to fight for the 2nd this year. However, Cao Zhuo from Asia Racing Team is just falling behind by 15 points, he must do what he can to fight for overall runner up with only 15 years old.

Class B Hua Miao from BlackArts Racing is leading by 210 points. As a 3-year AFR experience driver, he will go all out to take the top trophy. But Grace Gui from S&D Motorsports is now standing on 2nd place with 203 points. She will definitely try her best to win the 2017 series. Liu ZeXuan from PS Racing is taking the 3rd place with 120 points, which he cannot fight with the overall champion, but he still need to keep an eye on his pace to defend his position.

For Road to Champion drivers, Stephen Hong from Team KRC is now leading the table with 112 points, while Daniel Lu is just 2 points behind of him, and Jacky Liu from BlackArts Racing obtained 108 points. They will have to fight until the last second to know who will be able to take the full season sponsor from Renault Sport Formula One Team to participate in single formula series in Europe next year. Li Wei, Allen Wang and Xu ZiXuan who selected from Road to Champion Young Driver Program are also performing well in the last two races, as well as the other young driver Luo Kai from S&D Motorsports.
