(Shanghai China - August 25 2005) The top domestic racing—2005 China Circuit Championship (CCC) is coming back to Shanghai after five months. During this week, Asian Formula Renault Challenge will stage its fifth event and the Formula Campus Series will kick off its second provision. Last but not least, the attractive Jackie Chan Charity Cup headed by Jackie Chan along with lots of movie stars will go on ceremoniously. At that time, Shanghai International Circuit will be a gigantic gathering of drivers and movie stars.
Asian Formula Renault Challenge is entering its second half of the season. Hanss LIN of Team Champ Motorsport, is occupying the first place firmly. There will be two strong competitors missing this time -- Jiang Tengyi from the Shangsai FRD Team who will attend the world A1 GP and Ryohei Tanaka, who is taking a leave for personal reason. Although David Louie from Dyna Ten Motorsports and Henry LEE from Shangsai FRD Team have good records but it will be a tough mission for them to catch Lin for the overall championship. The championship is firmly in control by LIN with his excellent skills and consistent performance. He will lock up the 2005 championship if he wins the next round. The other driver needed to be watched is JIM Ka To, the first and only Chinese Red Bull Junior driver will continue to participate in the series. He has already shown us his promising future in the last race. What we are expecting now is how many races he can win.
Two rounds of the Asian and China Formula Campus Series went by. Chen Xu and Xu Jia, two young drivers from China took the top two places for both rounds in Zhuhai. Xu also provided the fastest lap time for the race. Two promising female drivers also showed their talented skills in Zhuhai. A. Alexandra took one fourth place and Diana ROSARIO took eighth place twice. The expectation is high for them in Shanghai.
