(Shanghai, China – August 10, 2005)A1 GP official test-drive was held on the Silverstone in Britain last week. The deputations coming from 15 countries such as China, Brazil, U.S, Britain, France attend the competition. The delegates for China are two young players from FRD--Jiang Tengyi and Ma QingHua. What they get from this competition will help them in the A1 GP in Britain September; they will represent China to attend the “Motorsport World Cup”.
Both the two players will represent FRD to attend Asian Formula Renault Challenge. Jiang is the champion of Malaysia round; Ma behaves well too. In the contest, both of them have plenty of experience. Jiang has attended not only the Asian Formula Race, but also many of European competitions such as Formula VW in Germany and Formula Renault in Italy; and Ma is the year- champion of China Formula Campus Challenge, which makes a solid ground for the higher Formula Race.
Both of them were talent showing in the A1 China Team Selection held in zhuhai International Circuit on May 18th this year. In that Selection, the hoster and FRD direct the history event of China Racing circles. FRD provided all the supercars and mechanics, and they also sent the chief instructors to coach each player, ensuring the Selection a high quality and going on wheels. FRD makes a big contribution for the development of China Racing again.
This time, the two players of FRD enter the world-class competition, and compete with many former players of F1; it has proved the eternal aim of FRD: training the world-class players for China by holding the China Formula Campus Challenge, Asian Formula Renault Challenge and so many competitions. FRD offers more and more Chinese young players the training step by step, and makes them more and more close to the high-level. Marchy Lee, Jim Kato, and Cheng Congfu have made their way onto the world stage, Jiang Tengyi and Ma Qinghua is following them to the palace, who will be the next?
Whoever they are, it is sure FRD will not change their faith that is to discover the potential youth, training the veriest players and nuturing the hoping stars for China Racing. This is the commission of FRD. The FRD people will always embalm the faith!
