CCC 2000cc competition comes back to Beijing Goldenport Circuit on June 7, 2008. Under the circumstances that Changan Ford team didn't perform as good as we expected during the past two rounds, the Beijing round turns out to be a vital one for Changan Ford team. The three team drivers, Rainey He, Henry Lee and Ben Zuo, said they will do their best and bring us good news.

Good weather always brings good result. Qualifying was separated into two groups. Changan Ford was in the 1 st group and the drivers certainly fulfilled their words. Rainey He set a time of 1m 12.150s and captured the pole position, while his teammate Henry Lee captured 3 rd . Ken Look from Hankook LuFang team finished 2nd. The other Changan Ford driver Ben Zuo captured a convincing 6th. Thus, Changan Ford drivers all get favorable starting spots in the coming round, which indeed is good news to the overall championship defender.

Rainey He did a remarkable job in free practice in the morning. He said that his racecar has been going through some fine-tuning during the past 2 weeks and all the mechanical problems are resolved, so he was able to race more relaxed.

For Henry Lee, it's been a while since he made it to top three. He was just 0.1sec slower than Ken Look. He said “It's actually my 1st top three in 2008 and it feels good. The set up could be a little bit better and I am counting on tomorrow.” Henry Lee has been struggling with some mechanical problems this year and it was hard for this top driver from HK to show us his capability. It seems that this is a turning point for him and let's hope it works out this time.

Rainey He indeed was the focus in the after race press conference. He said that Changan Ford didn't put much pressure on the drivers and they really appreciate that. “Winning pole position is a good start, glad we got luck and everything. I'm pretty confident about the race tomorrow.” Rainey added after the race. The race will start on 2 ： 40pm June 8. With our fully prepared Ford Focus racecars, it should be a marvelous one.
