Chengdu International Circuit is going to welcome China Circuit Championship (Race 5) on November 26 th & 27 th . Ford Formula Campus Championship (FFC), one of the CCC supporting races promoted by Formula Racing Development Ltd (FRD) and supported by Changan Ford Mazda Automobile Ltd, is supposed to put up a good fight for spectators in Chengdu International Circuit.

Given that there are only 2 races to go for Ford Formula Campus drivers, the competition is turning fiercer. In Domestic category, young drivers from “Changan Ford Young Driver Program” launched a good fight: Martin Cao, the 15-year old young driver from Hunan province, is leading the points table by 4 points and Xing Zhe Xie (16 years old), another young driver from the “program”, is the 2 nd on points table. Gao Xiang Fan (15 years old), another young promising driver, is currently the 3 rd . In International category, Ka Lok Chin, the celebrity driver from Hong Kong, drawing on his consistent performance, is having a clear lead on the points table and Rich Pham from Vietnam is the 2 nd . Diana ROSARIO, the female driver on her upswing from Macau, is the current 3 rd .

Peter Cui of FRD, who is in charge of FFC's fleet, indicated that all the vehicles are in good shape and the on-track testing of the fleet has been completed. FRD has been working on improving the vehicles, with safety implements such as new seat belt and an even more identical set up to the cars, drivers will find it easier to control;” For most of our drivers, it will be their first race on Chengdu track. The track is not an easy one and all the high-speed turns could be tough for new comers. We will arrange Ford Focus car to lead FFC drivers several laps for them to get to know the track better.” What worth mentioning is that FRD will send a data analyst who has much experience in coaching in Canada and he will work with MoTec system & communicate with drivers to help them getting a better vision of their performance and improve their driving skills.
