After going through a long intense process, Ford Formula Campus Championship is going to have its final race in Shanghai Tian Ma Shan Circuit on December 12 th & 13 th .

In order to keep the fleet in good shape, FRD's technical team checked all the cars and did some re-setup on them. Changan Ford is paying a lot of attention to the upcoming race:¡± We will do a comprehensive analysis of the seven drivers from Changan Ford Young Driver Program and choose one with good potential and Changan Ford will sponsor him/her a seat in 2009 Asian Formula Renault Championship.¡± There will be thirteen drivers competing in Ford Formula Campus Championship and in China Category, Martin Cao (38 points), Gao Xiang Fan (37 points) and Xin Zhe Xie (36 points) are certainly going to start a good fight towards final champion. With only 2-point difference among three drivers, there is no mistake allowed in the last race. In International Category, Ka Lok Chin, the celebrity driver from Hong Kong, is leading the points table by 6 points and Diana Rosario, the female driver from Macau, is 2 nd on points table. Rich Pham from Vietnam is 3 rd .

Peter Cui of FRD indicated that TMS circuit is a demanding track;¡± The first corner is a tough one and to choose a good race line is very important to the drivers. Luckily, the weather is good and it'll help the drivers to give a better performance.¡± Peter Cui also indicated that young drivers communicate a lot and Gao Xiang Fan & Xin Zhe Xie are two of the drivers with impressive progress.
Ford Formula Campus drivers will put up a good fight in the final race. Let's wait and see!
