Following in the footsteps of the very successful Super Challenge Show (C1) “One-Foundation” charity event in May 2008, FRD and Shanghai International Circuit (SIC) will bring the race weekend back to SIC on August 22 nd   & 23 rd , 2009. C1 will feature five professional races and super star/professional race driver Aaron Kwok.  

The AFR championship will bring its international challenge back to SIC for the C1 weekend. Asia Racing Team (ART), March 3 (M3), team PTRS, Champ Motorsport and FRD racing team will bring young drivers from 10 different countries and regions. For the 2009 season, the teams and drivers have taken turns leading the points table, which leaves the title winner a mystery.  

Ford Formula Campus championship (FFC) will hold its 3 rd   and 4 th   round in C1. FRD first started this entry level Formula championship in 1997. After bringing hundreds of excellent young formula drivers to higher level competition through the Formula Campus series, the championship is entering its 13 th   successful racing season. For the 2009 season, FFC is featuring a more international driver line-up. The only female driver in FFC, Diana Rosario, is now leading the points table.  

FRD recently announced that the renowned one-make race Clio Cup in Europe will come to China for the first time, with the Clio Cup China series using the newly-launched 2009 Clio III vehicles with updated race style. After the Le Mans Bugatti and Nuburgring races, the Clio Cup China series will come to the Motherland for the first time. In addition Aaron Kwok, the international superstar, will join the competition.  

ET.CHINA AGT Masters will also join the C1 weekend and it is no doubt the high-performance luxury GT race of the weekend. The ET.CHINA AGT Masters will bring an all-Ferrari line-up to the grid. Shanghai race fans will surely enjoy the competition from the F360 challenge and F430 GT3.  

” Radical cup in China ” will show up at C1 with a fleet of Radical SR3s and it will be the first time that this series runs in China . Radical SR3 is a very famous and fascinating type of race car. Race fans will surely be excited to see the race.  

In addition to the August race weekend, C1 will also travel to Chengdu International Circuit in September with Mr. Jet Lee's “One-Foundation”.
