ET.CHINA AGT Masters' schedule is rather tight in September as the GT drivers just finished the Challenge Show (C1) Chengdu race last week. This weekend they are gathered again at the Zhuhai International Circuit (ZIC) for the Pan Delta Super Racing Festival.

This time, the championship holds yet another super GT party: the classic Ferrari 360 Challenge, F430 Challenge and the F430 GT3 with its remarkable speed; in addition the Lamborghini Gallardo GT3 and UK-rooted Ginetta G50 will also show up at the ZIC. The Gallardo GT3 and F430 GT3 are sure to bring a good fight this weekend as they are almost equally fast. The race is divided into two classes: GT3 and Class A. Sixteen drivers will stage a good show for Zhuhai race fans.

The ET.CHINA AGT Masters will feature 2 qualifying sessions this weekend, which will spice up the 2 rounds. The first qualifying session started today at 2:50 p.m. and the very experienced GT driver Eddie Yau set a 1:41.5 on his first try, which was already 0.1 seconds faster than his best lap in official practice. On his second timed lap, Yau managed to fell his laptime to 1:40.8 which became the pole lap of qualifying session one - it is obvious that he is in good shape for this weekend. Oliver Lee, another fast GT driver that the fans are familiar with, set a 1:42.2 in lap 2 and bettered the laptime to 1:41.8 in the next 2 laps, managing to improve his laptime to 1:41.2. In lap 3, Zhang Ran and Paul Poon headed back to pitlane and Zhang had to retire from the session due to technical problems. Poon rejoined the qualifying in lap 6 and set a 1:41.9 immediately, bettering his laptime to 1:41.1 in the next lap to move to 2nd on the starting grid for round 1. As a result, Oliver Lee's 1:41.2 moved him to 3rd. Kenneth Ma set 1:43.9 in lap 5, moved to 5th and managed to renew his best lap to 1:43.7 in lap 6. In the end, Eddy Yau grabbed pole with Poon 2nd and Lee 3rd. Samson Fung will start from the 2nd row next to Lee in round 1, with Francis TJIA and Kenneth Ma on the 3rd row.

Drivers indicated that the track was a little slippery due to on track activities, and they had to drive very carefully during the session.

The 2 nd qualifying session will start on Saturday morning.
