The final round of 2009 Ford Formula Campus championship (FFC) was held at Shanghai Tianma Circuit (STC) on Sunday afternoon. Due to Saturday's race, Diana Rosario and Law Wai Lung started from 1 st row while Paulo Batalha and Daniel Gomes were on 2 nd .

The start was quite dramatic, as Rosario got off to a good start and led the race into T1 while Shi Jie, Gomes and Batalha crashed together and were stuck in T1 as everyone else drove off. Three cars all managed to restart but Batalha's rear wing was hanging off the back and he was black flagged in lap 4. Shi Jie went off the track in T5 soon after he rejoined the competition and he retired from the race. After one lap, the race order was Rosario, Law, Santo, Pham, Webb, Wong, Sin, Tse, Batalha and Gomes.

In lap 4, Sin passed Webb into T9. Rosario and Law were leading the race. In lap 8 Sin managed to pass Wong into T9 and the top 5 order was Rosario, Law, Santo, Pham and Sin. In lap 10, Santo moved really close to Law's rear but could not get enough speed to overtake. In the end, Rosario won again. Law finished the race 2 nd while Santo, Sin and Pham finished 3 rd , 4 th and 5 th , respectively.

Rosario performed extremely well and won the champion title while Law won 1 st runner-up thanks to his steady performance. Santo, with little experience in Campus cars and practice time, showed natural talent and won 2 nd runner up. Gomes missed top 3 spot by only 1 point.

This is FFC's 13 th successful season and FRD's friends and all the drivers are looking forward to another exciting FFC race season in 2010.
