Even though Changan Ford racing team has already won the Manufacturer Cup, the race still seemed to be competitive as the driver title was still open. In the end, Michael Ho from Huayang racing team took the first place. Tengyi Jiang of Changan Ford racing team, captured the season driver 2nd runner-up title.
The race cannot be considered a good race for the team. After only two laps, three of the Changan Ford cars were already out of the race after getting involved in three different contact accidents leaving Tengyi running in the middle of the pack. He could only manage to climb up to sixth place and lost out the season driver title by two points.

“My car got 100kg extra weight for the race that obviously was affecting my time in this specific circuit that has a couple long straights. I felt sorry for missing the driver title but I am still please about our team winning the team title again. Let’s see in 2011, we will keep on doing a good job.”

We just have to close the book for this race, make our review and learn from the experience that we gained. I will take this opportunity to thank our team members who have worked so hard for our success.
I also would like to congratulate the other teams for a job well done and we will work together to make another good show in 2011. More competition will certainly speed up the learning curve for motor sports in China and I hope we all can continue to contribute to that.
Due to the major regulation changes that we are expecting and with Changan Ford giving us the green light already, we have to start the preparation work for next season immediately.”
