The 2010 AFR series finished the season with an exciting curtain call. Sandy Nicholas Stuvik of Asia Racing Team took home dual titles, with first place in the individual International class as well as the Asia class. While fellow teammate Tin Sritrai also took dual titles in the runner up position, also in the International and the Asia class, ending the rivalry with Samin Gomez Briceno of Top Speed Racing, for the seasons'runner-up position. Gomez Briceno placed 3 rd in the international class was the seasons' only title placing female driver. Chi Cong Li of Asia Racing Team took 3 rd in the individual Asia class.
In team International class, Asia Racing Team took first place, with the Top Speed Racing team coming in with the number 2 spot, and Champ Motorsport rounding it off with 3 rd . In the Asia class, Asia Racing Team once again takes the top spot, with Champ Motorsport in 2 nd place and the FRD Racing Team bringing in 3 rd place.
With the 2010 season closing of the AFR series, thanks goes to the drivers for bringing a new level of excitement and passion to the motorsport here in Asia. The endless suspense and friendly rivalries made for an addictive season to the fans until the very end. Formula Racing Development (FRD) is already in preparation for the 2011 AFR season. We're determined to help train drivers to the highest level of formula series, providing an even greater level of challenge for the drivers and intensity for the fans. A n exciting start to AFR can be expected for 2011. |
