PS Racing, formerly known as PSR [Pekka Saarinen Racing], today announced its return to the world of motorsports. PS Racing has had an outstanding performance record:
· 2007 Asia Formula Renault] drivers’ Champion and 2nd in team points
· 2008 the team took the 2nd and 3rd place AFR drivers’ titles
· 2008 AFR Team Champion.

Team Owner Pekka Saarinen says “First of all we’re very excited to be back in Motorsport after taking few years off. It is interesting to see how our new approach to racing team services will work this year. PS Racing will have two distinct parts: a traditional team running drivers in Formula Renault 2.0 and the new Formula Abarth Asia etc, we will also provide consulting services to drivers and teams looking to take their performance to the next level. This new service will be available to all drivers and teams outside of PS Racing. “

China, Zhuhai based PS Racing will be one of the biggest formula racing team in Asia with over 6 drivers participating single seater series in Asia. PS Racing team will continue their success in formula Renault 2.0 and also in new Formula Abarth Asia series which will be a good step for the team.

New to Asia will be PS Racing Engineering and technical services. This new service will be available to all drivers regardless of their team affiliation. PS Racing will also provide this service to other teams. The services will be: 1) coaching, 2) engineering, and 3) technical support. PS Racing will provide a higher level of coaching and technical assistance than which are currently difficult to find in Asia. The coaching and engineering will be handled by 4 time Formula Renault Champion Pekka Saarinen.

Pekka also feels “I have seen Asian Motorsport now for 5 years and I truly think that we can offer a lot to many Drivers. I have noticed that coaching is not very popular around here but I know how important it is to get correct feedback from professionals like I did when I raced.”
