With the BaodaoOptical Formula Campus Series coming to a racing finish, the finalists of the competition are using what they’ve learned and trained hard for.

On a cloudy and cool day this May, the final 10 try to relax and prepare for the qualifying races they are about to face. Nervous? Excited? Eager? All of the feelings at once? All these feelings are pushed aside as they mentally prepare and gear up in their jumpsuits and slip on their helmets. The roar of the race cars wash over them, as they start their engines literally. Fighting for the best starting position in tomorrow’s final race, they do their best however they can regardless of what happens on the race track.With engine stalls and other random technical mishaps, drivers Chen Yuanran into some bad luck right at the start. While others managed to perform well due to the training they were given.

Feng Yue from Beijingtakes best time and scores the Pole position for tomorrow’s last race of the Baodou Campus Series. Zhang Bichao takes second and Ma Renzhong in third position. With the forecast calling for rain tomorrow, the young racers will be tested even further … perhaps beyond their current experience?
