Formula Racing Development with Baodao Optical had a special project this year choosing a group of students to compete and train them in Campus. This was a mutually beneficial project for both brands involved, with the final race of this 4 month long project happening, Sunday May 22.

Due to unusually cool weather extra laps were required to prep the cars and improve tire traction. Once the safety car left the circuit, Feng Yue immediately took the lead with a lead time of a full second by T3. A former successful Polo Cup driver, to him he was confident this was a near given win. Zhang Bichao who took second place and Ma Renzhong who took third also started to leave the rest of the drivers behind. Even with a spin out in lap 5, Zhang Bichao still managed to catch up and improve his time.

By the time the race was half over, the three positions were already confirmed. Feng Yue took the special series win with a lead of 1 minute 13 seconds over the other drivers concluding this special Campus competition. After this second, SIC C’ship finally come to the end.
