The Shanghai Audi International Circuit Series was held in Shanghai International Circuit from August 20th to August 21st and the opening ceremony was held on August 21st.

This marks the first cooperation between FRD and More Love Foundation. There were more than 200 honorable guests and two famous disabled athletes, Wang Duolan and Jinjing, attended the opening ceremony. Mr. Hu Jinxing, the chairman of More Love Foundation gave a brief speech in the opening ceremony encouraging our further support to the disabled athletes. We were also honored to have Miss Hong Kong Lee Sansan to act as the ambassador of this charity race.

To show their support to this good cause, all the drivers who participated this weekend’s races attended the ceremony, and Mr. Hu Jinxing shook hands with each driver to thank them.

Mr. Hu Jinxing was asked why he choose to combine the race and charity together. He mentioned that motor racing is a becoming a very popular sport and is growing in parallel with the automotive industry and people love to watch it. He believes that more racing event participation will attract more people’s attention to this charitable activity.

The opening ceremony of Shanghai Audi International Circuit and the More Love Charity Race was held successfully with everyone’s strong effort. Mr. Hu Jinxing also said he is glad to see the event can be held so successfully. By continuing to push on our belief of combining racing and charity which we have done in the last ten plus years, FRD believes that we are contributing to the development both to Motor racing and charity work. FRD is looking forward to cooperate with more charitable institutions in the future.
