He made a few overtaking and eventually worked himself all the way up to 3rd position.

After the race, Steve Elmes indicated: “I need to thank my team who gave me a good car to drive. Without them I could not have made it this far. I felt great today when I was in the race car; and with a little bit luck, the trophy of the winner finally came to my pocket. And surely I will attend the race in next Dec in Zhuhai.”

The final Clio race will be moving to Zhuhai December 11th. The title fight will be between Steve Elmes and Oliver Lee with Aaron Kwok still has a mathematically chance after he missed this race in Shanghai.
