In the 2011 Clio Cup China series, race car driver Steve Elmes will compete for the first time. Driving the British Silverstone circuit since the 1990’s he returns to the competitive scene with a time of 1:56.64 on the Zhuhai International Circuit (ZIC), proving he still has what it takes. Spending 2 days on the ZIC circuit is what enticed him to participate in the Clio Cup this year. He enjoys the Clio’s overall driving performance, complimenting the Clio as a professional standard car with a great chassis, strong engine and gear box. Holding spot number 11 in this year’s Clio Cup, he plans to have a great finish with hard work and determination.
